Sony confirmed users won’t need to purchase PS Plus to use PS4′s party chat. The new PlayStation 4′s party chat functionality will be available to everyone. It was also revealed that the max friends you can have on PS4 are 2,000 people. Your PSN avatar and username will transfer over to PlayStation 4.
